01/2010 - The primary concentration at this time is the iPhone interface as shown below. We have accessed the house via mobile phone for years but the interface was getting old and needed more features and a better look.

    Why? This is an an outshoot of the @ShawneePD and @ShawneeFD that I developed.

    The house currently tweets items such as door bell use, phone rings, various motion after dark around the house (as well as notifying internally), washer and dryer activity and various other basic functions.

    Proximity sensing, tweeting run times, better log viewing now online

    * Added basic proximity sensing with bluetooth using xAP (zap) Blue application and my own VBScript that monitors the settings.txt file for active devices. If active it updates a flag in the TC+ system. Not sure how I am going to use it yet. (BluetoothExample.vbs)
    * Added tweeting run times for Zone2 HVAC system for the heck of it and motion cam capture notifications.
    * Updated log viewing application to calc/display run times between ON and OFFs

    Bedroom HVAC Unit logging up and working

    Connected Bedroom HVAC outputs into system to track Heat and Cool activity. Simple digital input to track status. Not tracking fan at this time. Will add other zone when I want to get in the attic.

    Power logs back online, weather speaking and washing machine back

    * Added power line logging but it APC PowerChute Plus keeps stopping - creates the power line gauges as shown on the right.
    * Added weather speaking abilities via VBS scripting. System executes weather.vbs that reads weather RSS, strips current temp and forecast and speaks them. This is simple enough to understand unlike full forecast. Based on This Script
    * Re-integrated the washing machine into the system using 120vac output from master switch output to drive a wall wart that then switches a 12dv relay. Complete isolation that way.
